BOTTLE GAURD GRAVY CURRY(SORAKAYA)

bottle gaurd peices
1 sp giner garlic paste
5 green chillies
1 sp red chilli powder
salt
onions
cilantro
tamrind juice
oil

heat the pan with 1 sp of oil
fry the bottle gaurd for 2 minutes (cover the pan with the lid) and steam cook for another 1 minute and then set it aside.
in the same pan heat oil and add onions green chillies and fry till brown
now add garlic ginger paste and stir it for 1 minute
add bottle gaurd peices add tamrind juice and cook till it is tender .
add salt and chillie powder and simmer for 4 minutes
garnish with cilantro.

Shanti, I live in CA and was at Little India today in a vegetarian cuisine restaurant where I had not been before. There was a wonderful corn dish (waiter said it had peanut powder also) and I am trying to find recipe for this and stumbled on your website (which is terrific!!)
