This is my first experiment on radish curry ..i saw it on the internet and tot of making it...but i changed it a little bit...
1 bunch radish
1/2 cup toor dal(may be 2 hands ful)
coconut 1/2 cup or take 4 sp of coconut powder
4 red chillies
2 sp dhania
2 inch piece tamarind
2 pinches of hing
chilli powder
1 cup chopped onions

cut the radish.take 1/2 cup chopped onions,dal and radish and pressure cook for 3 whistles(do not mash it after removing).
grind coconut,chillies,tamarind,dhania in to fine paste
heat oil in a pan .add the remaining 1/2 cup onions n fry them.add the ground paste n fry for 2 minutes.add hing n fry for 1/2 minute.add salt n chilli powder.
add dal to it.
cook for 10 to 15 or till u r satisfied with taste.
serve with rice or chapati.

looks like a tasty curry..simple..haven't made curry using radish..

interesting recipe...I make radish sambar (including the leaves)...but this is new to me...have to try it...thanks for sharing
