MAMIDIKAYA PAPPU(MANGO DAL)

sun dried mangos(orugulu)or raw mango(green)
dal
1 sp mustard seeds
1 sp uradh dal
1 sp jeera
1/2 sp methi powder(this adds good flavour and taste to mango dal)
coriander powder 1/2 sp
curry leaves
onion
salt
green chillies
red chillie powder




pressure cook mango pieces , dal,onion,green chillies.
mash it with pappugutti or an instrument used to mash potatoes.
add salt and red chilli powder according to ur requirment.
add coriander powder and methi powder stir it well.
season it with mustard ,urad,curry leaves and jeera in oil.
pour this into dal.stir and serve hot with ghee,pappadam,odiyam...etc....
